Seeing Clearly-Weekly Photo Challenge:Focus

For this challenge, get out there and take a picture demonstrating the concept of focus. Depending on your skill level or type of camera, tinker with the manual settings, use the auto focus feature, or play around with an app. Some ideas:Snap a photo of something or someone in focus, against a blurred background.Share a panorama or landscape in sharp focus, in which you can see details far away.Use a camera app to force focus (or blur) in an experimental way.Take multiple photos of the same scene or subject using different aperture settings and publishing the results.

For this challenge the subject is my beautiful nine year old daughter Haley who embodies everything sweetness and light. The first picture is the original, she looks so innocent and wistful. The following photos play with focus and sharpness as well as different light and color schemes. Am I not a photographer but I do have fun taking and editing photos on my Samsung Galaxy 4 and my subject is pretty amazing!

  1. I specially like the serpian, orton and vintage. Nice pics, by the way she does have a little look as if saying `why the hell is mom bothering me, I wan´t to go and play…´don´t know whatever little girls now play.

    1. She actually loves to get her photo taken but she has a hard time staying still. She likes to sing and dance and pose and do cartwheels but I am not great with action shots!
